Opened the year with Syracuse, where he hit .231 with seven doubles and 13 RBI in 34 games for the Chiefs... Tied a career-high with four hits, 4/30 at Norfolk (4-5, double, RBI, 2 R)... Transferred to Harrisburg on 6/2 and spent rest of year with the Senators, batting .299 with seven home runs and 29 RBI... 2014: Appeared in 70 games with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, hitting .268 (63-235) with 18 extra-base hits, 28 runs and 28 RBI...Hit right-handed pitching at a .286 clip (56-196)...Hit .300 (21-70) with 24 RBI with runners in scoring position.
2013: Began the season with Triple-A Scanton/W-B, making 47 appearances in two stints with the RailRiders… Made his Major League debut when he was called up as the New York Yankees 26th Man for the May 13 doubleheader at Cleveland...Started the opener at first base (0-for-2, BB) and started game two at second base (1-for-4, R); recorded his first Major League hit in the top of the seventh inning off Trevor Bauer, hitting a leadoff double before coming around to score his first Major League run on a double by Austin Romine two batters later.
2012: Combined at Double-A Trenton and Scranton/W-B to hit .276 with 29 doubles and 62 RBI in 107 games...Established a career high with 15 home runs...Batted .314 (27-86) in 23 games with Double-A Trenton.
2011: Spent the entire season with Double-A Trenton, batting .277 with 75 runs, five home runs and 58 RBI in 131 games...Named to the Eastern League's Midseason All-Star team...Recorded a 17-game hitting streak from 4/18-5/6.
2010: Hit .283 with six home runs and 65 RBI in 129 games between Tampa and Trenton...Named to the FSL Midseason All-Star team...Named by Baseball America as the "Best Defensive Second Baseman" among all Class-A players.
2009: Batted .300 (114-for-380) with four home runs and 57 RBI in 100 games with Single-A Charleston...Selected to the SAL's postseason All-Star team as the league's top third baseman...Named the SAL July Player of the Month.
2008: Made his professional debut with the GCL Yankees, batting .277 with two home runs and 18 RBI in 49 games.
PERSONAL: Corban Raymond Joseph was signed by Baltimore as a minor league free agent on 2/19/18...Originally selected by the New York Yankees in the 4th round of the 2008 draft out of Franklin High School (TN)…He's just the third player ever drafted out of Franklin HS to make the Major Leagues, joining former Milwaukee Brewers All-Star reliever Derrick Turnbow as well as his older brother, current Orioles catcher Caleb Joseph.
