Bears announce three players out against Cardinals

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears have ruled out safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and offensive linemen Braxton Jones (knee) and Kiran Amegadjie (calf) due to their injuries ahead of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Montez Sweat, Ryan Bates, Kyler Gordon, Teven Jenkins and Larry Borom are labeled questionable on Friday's injury report.

Sweat did not practice Friday, and Gordon practiced (limited) for the first time in two weeks.

"We're just giving [Sweat] another day of rest and we'll see where it goes through the next 48 hours," coach Matt Eberflus said in his press conference Friday. "But again, we thought the day of rest would be good for his injury."

However, there is some good news as offensive linemen Ryan Bates and Larry Borom practiced on Friday.

"Larry's been working in there," Eberflus said. "We feel really good about that. We want to make sure that we're not moving multiple spots. We'll see where that goes, but Larry's done a good job in there. And again, our right side is the right side. It should be pretty solid there."

The Bears (4-3) will face off against the Cardinals (4-4) at 3:05 p.m. CT Sunday from Arizona's State Farm Stadium.
