Cubs News: Bill Murray provides a massage for Jake Arrieta |
Legendary actor and comedian Bill Murray is a diehard Cubs fan and is trying to help Cubs ace Jake Arrieta through a long baseball season.
Murray has been at Turner Field for last two Cubs wins against the Atlanta Braves and actually gave Arrieta the use of his personal masseuse for a 2.5-hour massage on Saturday night according to the Chicago Tribune. "[Arrieta]'s a large guy, and I don't really push him around too much," Murray said. "But I think he really enjoyed his experience." Murray spent a few moments in the Cubs' tv booth with Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies on Sunday. "It's a wet heat here in Atlanta," Murray said during the telecast. "This ballpark smells like hamburgers." The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced on Monday that Murray will be the 2016 recipient of the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. It is the nation's top prize for humor.
