Cubs News: World Series items auctioning off for record-breaking prices

Chicago Cub fans and speculators are trying to grab as many mementos from the historic 2016 World Series series that broke the Cubs 108-year championship drought.

Two major collectible items that have sold recently was the red on-deck circle in Cleveland which fetched $40,575 and the game-used first base used in the final two innings for Game 7 went for a record-breaking $101,237.
