Kris Bryant injured vs. Brewers on Thursday

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant was taken out of the game in the third inning after he rolled his right ankle running the bases.

Bryant was hit twice by pitches and had a single before leaving the game. He is one of six players this season with at least 15 runs scored and 15 RBI, joining Josh Donaldson, Nolan Arenado, Bryce Harper, Stephen Piscotty and Trevor Story.

For the season, Bryant is hitting .289 with four home runs.

Javier Baez replaced him in left field in the fourth inning.

Update: Bryant will have an MRI on his right ankle.
