WATCH: Fowler gets smacked in the leg by toddler

by - Senior Editor -

Outfielder Dexter Fowler has been one of the first half MVP's of the first-place Chicago Cubs and deservedly so with his .290 average, seven homers, 28 RBIs, and an on-base percentage .398.

However, that didn't stop Fowler's toddler neighbor Kellen to smack him in the leg with a large green nerf bat during an impromptu batting practice session. Fortunately, Fowler was able to laugh off the hit by Kellen.

Fowler is currently on the 15-day disabled list with a hamstring injury.
