WATCH: Javier Baez crushes 434-foot two-run blast

CINCINNATI — Making contact with the sweet spot of his bat, Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez drove a 434-foot blast out to center field on Sunday. Marking the Cubs' fourth home run of the day, the 434-foot jack chased Cincinnati Reds reliever Lucas Sims from the contest. Center fielder Ian Happ, who singled off Sims earlier in the inning, was plated by the dinger.

The long ball was hit with two outs in the top of the seventh at Great American Ball Park, making the score 9-8 in favor of the Reds. Javy's seventh homer of the season, the no-doubter increased Baez's RBI total to 22. Sims offered up a 97.3-mph four-seamer, and Baez walloped it off the bat at 108.2 mph and 27 degrees. The jack served as the seventh home run of the high-scoring affair.
