Not only is Kyle Hendricks one of the top pitchers in the National League, he also can handle the bat. In the second inning of Sunday's game against the Reds, Hendricks got the Cubbies on the board with a two-out RBI single up the middle to put the Cubs up 2-0. Jake Marisnick scored on the play. He hit a triple earlier in the inning. The Cubs need more offensive during their 8-game losing streak and anything to score runs is much needed at this point in the season.
