WATCH: Seiya Suzuki cranks homer against Twins |
Chicago Cubs right fielder Seiya Suzuki smacked a solo homer to pull the Cubs within six at 8-2 against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday afternoon. It was his second homer of the season, and it traveled 366 feet with an exit velocity of 108.8 MPH with a launch angle of 20 degrees. Suzuki has been on a power drought as he went 110 plate appearances from hitting his first homer of the season until today's second dinger. The Cubs will need more from Suzuki in the middle of the lineup if they want to be competitive in the National League Central this season.
