SAN DIEGO — Chicago Cubs reliever Andrew Chafin has gone viral for a variety of reasons this season, establishing himself as a fan favorite in the process. One such viral moment involved Chafin trying and failing to shag fly balls in the outfield during batting practice while being interviewed on Marquee Sports Network.

Chafin redeemed himself in batting practice at Petco Park on Tuesday, as he robbed center fielder Ian Happ of a home run. Although Chafin was not on air while making the leaping catch at the outfield wall, he shared footage of the highlight on Twitter, proving that he does have some athleticism after all.
