Bears make several roster moves |
The Chicago Bears announced several roster moves in advance of tonight's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team activated center Cody Whitehair from the reserve/COVID-19 list, promoted offensive lineman Eric Kush and running back Lamar Miller from the practice squad. In addition, quarterback Tyler Bray was added from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement and the team also signed defensive tackle Daniel McCullers to the active roster. Whew... hope you got all of that. The big news is that Whitehair is back to help on the offensive line, and Miller should get some carries in tonight's game to help offset the loss of starter David Montgomery. Regarding tonight's inactives for the Bears, here is the full list: quarterback Mitch Trubisky (shoulder), safety Sherrick McManis (hand), running back David Montgomery (concussion), offensive lineman Sam Mustipher (knee), defensive tackle Anthony Rush, nose tackle John Jenkins (ankle), and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson. Allen Robinson (knee) and Cole Kmet (groin) are active for tonight's contest. Robinson has 57 receptions for 712 yards and three touchdowns this season.
