PRO CAREER:



A six-year NFL veteran, Cole enters his first season with the Bears and seventh in the league in 2023, with previous stops in Houston (2017-20) and Tennessee (2021-22)
He has played in 61 career games with nine starts
His career totals include 104 career tackles, 2.0 sacks, two interceptions, one touchdown, nine PDs, four QBH, 10 TFL, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery



2022 SEASON (Titans):



Played in 15 games with eight starts, recorded 50 tackles (34 solo), 1.0 sack, one PD, one QBH and four tackles for loss
His best game of the season was Week 4 at Indianapolis when he recorded seven tackles (5 solo) and one TFL in the Titans 24-17 victory over the Colts



2021 SEASON (Titans):



Competed in six contests for Tennessee, mostly contributing on special teams. His season totals include eight tackles, 0.5 sacks, one QBH, one TFL, one FF and one PD
On special teams, Cole tallied a career-best 10 special teams tackles which ranked third on the team



2020 SEASON (Texans):



Appeared in six games and notched two total tackles and four special teams tackles
Saw his first action of the season in the home opener against Baltimore in Week 2
Logged two total tackles in Week 3 at Pittsburgh
Notched two special teams tackles in Week 6 at Tennessee
Recovered the blocked punt by RB Buddy Howell on Packers P JK Scott at the Packers' 33-yard line in Week 7



2019 SEASON (Texans):



Played in 11 games before being placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Nov. 23
Finished the season with eight total tackles (six solo), one pass defensed and one fumble recovery on defense and finished third on the team with eight special teams tackles ... Played in the season opener at New Orleans and notched one tackle on defense and one tackle on special teams
Recorded one special teams tackle in the win vs. Jacksonville
Notched one special teams tackle in the Week 3 win over the L.A. Chargers
Registered two total tackles (one solo) on defense and one special teams tackle vs. Carolina
Recorded one tackle on defense and two on special teams in the win at Kansas City
Notched one pass defensed and added one special teams tackle in the Week 8 win over Oakland
Tallied two total tackles on defense (two solo) and one special teams tackle in the win over Jacksonville in London (11/3). Notched his first career fumble recovery on the last play of the game, recovering a fumble by Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew II forced by OLB Brennan Scarlett
Registered two total tackles (two solo) at Baltimore.



2018 SEASON (Texans):



Finished with 13 total tackles (13 solo), one tackle for loss and three passes defensed in eight regular season games
Tallied five solo tackles and one pass defensed at New England
Notched three solo tackles at Tennessee
Placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Sept. 25
Activated off the Reserve/Injured list on Nov. 27
Totaled two total tackles (two solo) at the N.Y. Jets (12/15)
Recorded one pass defensed at Philadelphia
Compiled one total tackle (one solo), one tackle for loss and one pass defensed vs. Jacksonville
Tallied four total tackles (two solo) in the Wild Card Round vs. Indianapolis.



2017 SEASON (Texans):



Recorded 25 total tackles (10 solo), four tackles for loss, three passes defensed, two interceptions, two quarterback hits and 1.0 sack in 12 games as a rookie
Became the first rookie to record an interception for a touchdown in franchise history and first Texans player with a pick-six since CB Kareem Jackson in Week 10 of 2016
Was also the only college free agent in the NFL with a pick-six in 2017 and the first rookie college free agent linebacker with an interception returned for a touchdown since Chase Blackburn did it for the Giants in Week 16 of the 2005 season
Made his NFL debut and recorded one quar­terback hit vs. Jacksonville on September 10
Received extensive action at inside line­backer and notched his first three career tackles at Cincinnati
Became the first rookie in NFL history to record at least five total tackles, one sack and one interception returned for a touchdown vs. Tennessee
Started his first career game and totaled five tackles and one tackle for loss vs. Kansas City
Registered one tackle for loss and recorded his second interception of the season vs. Cleveland
