If ever a team requires starting pitching it's the cubs. At least four quality starters. This will be an enormous challenge for Hoyer. I don't think it can be done unless Rickets digs deeper in his pocket. Good quality starters are hard to come by, let alone the cost. It has to be the main priority for 2022. Without good starting pitching a team is usually doomed. I can only hope they will be competitive

They've had a good look of AAA players. The question is where do they fit in? Too many frequent long-term injuries can't continue. Nick Hoerner is a prime example. He's good but for his age he is injury prone.
