Catching up with Cubs' Top 2020 Prospects

2020 saw the Cubs strike gold with first-round pick Ed Howard and second-rounder Burl Carraway. While Howard may have the highest upside, Carraway may be the most big-league ready talent at this point hence why he was stashed in South Bend in August. Full Story »

Nice column Dustin. Looking forward to your columns this winter to help satisfy my Baseball/Cubs fix. Really excited by a lot of these prospect especially Davis. Do you know if there will be any winter ball leagues this winter such as the Venezuela league? If so, are any Cub prospects lined up to go?

As far as i know the only thing put in place is instructional ball. There is a dominican winter league that is supposed to take place, but that is for more of the international rookies this season. Something has to happen however as there is talk that we may not have a Minor league season in 2021. If that happens what do you do with the prospects. Some sort of league would have to start
