Bill Madlock hit the nail on the head. Why isn't the team trying for hits, instead of everyone thinking they can knock it out of the ballpark. I still think the hitting coach should be trying to get everyone to swing level. I still believe he should get an old video of Sandberg when he led the league with 40 homers, and was swinging level. Yes, they did not go out on Waveland or Sheffield, but they were shots into the 6th to l5th row in the bleachers. Maybe they are just too hard headed to listen to logic. Beats me!
