Hey Dustin.
What two players in the Cubs system have you the most excited or have your interest so far this season?

In terms of offense, I have been impressed with donnie dewees. Not only is he raking hitting near 350 but playing great defense too. I would like to see him get the call this year and leadoff.
Pitchers. Too many. Brailyn Marquez who throws 98 in A ball. Javier assad oscar de la Cruz

I love that there are too many pitchers to choose from. That's great news. Great job on the reports, keep them coming.

Wow, Dan never tells me that. But if anyone wants my two-cents worth, Nico Hoerner impresses me greatly and I really liked what I saw out of Wynton Bernard this spring.

No one wants your two cents worth.
Just kidding.
There seems to be another wave developing in the system of future big league Cubs. Hopefully they continue to develop and are ready to start filling in within the next 3-4 years.
Like Dustin will be doing for you shortly.

I did not include Nico on my list of players I am excited about Because people already knew who he was last year and they got real from million with him in Spring training this year. Being that I have streamed almost every single minor league game this year up to this point the players I am most excited about our names that some people may not have heard of until they started reading my stories and a lot of the Pitching help on the farm are from players that were not on the top 30 prospect list year ago and are starting to assert themselves as potential breakout candidates like Tyson Miller Oscar DE LA Cruz Brailan Marquez Javier Assad the list goes on and on

I understand. I'm so busy with the MLB side of things (and my house remodel, and my son, and life...), that I have little time to be able to enjoy the minor league stuff. It was nice for a change to see (or hear) all of the spring training games this year, and to watch some of the up and coming players. Keep up the good work.

And if you really want my take I can give you some players who have disappointed me in terms of prospects as I had great expectations for them heading into the season. Duane Underwood certainly has been a disappointment as he has looked completely lost and almost every start this season. For the 2nd season in a role Alec Mills battled an early season injury and has struggled to regain his form . Jen ho tseng released, Ian happ has lost his power. Miguel amaya is struggling to hit the ball. Of course it is early and many things can change from here on out but that's just the list of early season disappointments in my opinion

Dustin you are doing a great job with this series and I look forward to your stories every day. Adding some perspective to them for those of us who aren't seeing every game like you would be most helpful and add another layer to your coverage.
Keep up the good work and by next month you'll be taking over for that Ken guy.
