Marquee Sports Network announce their holiday lineup

CHICAGO/December 18, 2020 – Marquee Sports Network today announced its holiday programming lineup which will give Chicago Cubs fans plenty of classic and original Cubs content in the coming weeks.

Beginning Monday, December 21st at 7 P.M. CT and continuing throughout the week, Marquee Sports Network will feature Cubs Classics: Unwrapped, presented by Prevagen, where new Cubs Classic games will be unwrapped for viewers to enjoy. On December 25th at 7 P.M. CT, leading into that evening’s installment of Cubs Classics: Unwrapped, presented by Prevagen, Marquee Sports Network will air a special episode of Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, presented by Sloan, featuring holiday wishes from network talent as well as a special guest, Santa Claus.

The network will count down to 2021 with a New Year’s Eve Cubs Countdown marathon, presented by DraftKings, set to air December 31st at 11 A.M. CT. The marathon will feature a full day of episodes including “Top Wrigley Moments” and “Best Rookies.”

On New Year’s Day, viewers can ring in the new year with an Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster, presented by Sloan, marathon, that will culminate in a “Best Of Off the Mound with Ryan Dempster” special episode. The marathon begins January 1st, 2021 at 9 A.M. CT and the special episode will air at 7 P.M. CT. The day-long marathon will include conversations with Kris Bryant, Ken Griffey Jr., Eddie Vedder, David Ross and more. The night caps off with the premiere of Cubs Countdown: Greatest Catchers which airs at 7:30 P.M. CT.

New Year’s Day will cap off with the premiere of Cubs Countdown: Greatest Catchers of All-Time, presented by DraftKings, at 7 P.M. CT followed by the airing of the Cubs Classic: 1990 All-Star Game at Wrigley Field at 8 P.M. CT.

Throughout the last two weeks of December, Marquee Sports Network also will feature regularly scheduled Bears programming, including Bear Essentials, hosted by Cole Wright at 8:30 P.M. CT on Tuesday, December 22nd followed by Bears Rewind, the re-air of the weekly Chicago Bears matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday December 22nd at 9 P.M. CT. A fresh episode of Bear Essentials will air Tuesday, December 29th at 7 P.M. CT, followed by the re-air of the Bears matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday, December 29th at 7:30 P.M. CT.
