We all expected more this year. Fan for 55 years! Don't wanna complain, but some of Counsell's decisions have been questionable to me. Also, he seems to display a lack of comradery. Been watching Hoerner and Swanson struggling, tho Nico has been better lately. Sometimes this uppercut swinging doesn't get good results. And poor kid Morel isn't making enough contact. Think they need to study Pete Rose, George Brett, Rod Carew, and the like, and their hitting styles and make positive adjustments. Getting on base and clutch hitting is easily as important as home runs. I could say more, but leave it at that for now! Go Cubs go!!
