Cubs Corner with Bob Fiorante: MLB predictions, CY Young and MVPs picked, more |
On this week’s edition of the Cubs Corner, presented by Coach’s Bar and Grill, Anthony welcomed frequent guest Robert Fiorante on the show to discuss various topics on what should have been Opening Day.
(Sponsorship: Coach’s Bar and Grill is located at 6169 N Northwest Highway, and although they are closed due to the spread of Covid-19, they have their kitchen open on select days in order to serve food during the difficult time, here is a link to their Facebook page). Before diving in and making predictions, Anthony and Bob discussed multiple topics surrounding the impact the Coronavirus will have on the 2020 MLB season. Some of those include: When will the season begin? How many games will the season be? If shortened, does the MLB have to retool the schedule? Will the playoffs be as scheduled, moved, pushed back, moved to neutral site? Will the Cubs trip to London happen? What about the All-star game? After tackling those questions and more, the pair began to deliver division predictions.
