Cubs utility infielder Javier Baez drilled a grand slam to put the Cubs up 5-0 over the Pirates in the fourth inning. The homer went 360 feet and it was the shortest grand slam since 2011.

It was his 14th homer and he now has 55 RBI on the season. The grand slam was the second of his young career (both this year).

His 6 RBI was the most out of the eight hole in the batting order since Starlin Castro in 2010.
