Chicago Cubs first baseman Michael Busch crushed a two-run homer to straightaway centerfield to put the Cubs up 2-0 in the first inning against the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday night.
The homer landed on the top of the pitch next to the batter's eye. It was his first homer of the spring. This is great news for Cubs fans as Busch will get plenty of at-bats early as he tries to grab ahold of the first base job early in 2024.
