What an exciting time to be a Bears fan!
The Chicago Bears moved up to No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to draft Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields. The Bears went all-in with Fields by giving up the No. 20 overall pick and a fifth-rounder this year, and a 2022 first-rounder and fifth-rounder next season to move up nine spots to grab Fields. Bold move by the Bears but they finally get a franchise quarterback to mold for the future. He has superstar potential written all over him with his arm and toughness. "They're going to get a hard worker, a guy that's going to put himself out there to win every game, a leader on and off the field," Fields told the media after being selected. "So I'm just excited and ready to get to work." Fields is excited to be a member of the Bears. "I'm the kind of guy that thinks everything happens for a reason. It was God's plan for me to be a Bear. I'm more than ready and excited to get up there." In 2020, he completed 70.2 percent of his passes for 22 touchdowns and only six interceptions. The Bears now have a trio of quarterbacks with Andy Dalton, Nick Foles and Fields. With the No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 @NFLDraft, the @ChicagoBears select QB Justin Fields!

It's not fair to allow Mitch Trubisky's failure temper enthusiasm over Justin Fields' chances for success with the #Bears, not fair to let the franchise's tortured history at the QB position affect your expectations for Fields' future. But we're human. And these are the Bears.
