Spring Training baseball games are almost back as Chicago Cubs will face off against the Oakland A's on Saturday, Feb 22.
CubsHQ was on hand on Monday to take a look at what was happening in Mesa, Arizona with preparation for the North Siders.
Some of the highlights of the day were defensive drills by the infield and outfield, batting practice with Willson Contreras, and some live at-bats by Javy Baez, Kris Bryant, and Anthony Rizzo.
Cubs President of Operations Theo Epstein and Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts was also seen talking to some of the players and coaches during the workout.
