Cubs News: Ryne Sandberg updates his cancer battle |
Great news for Cubs nation.
Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg spoke with 670 The Score on Thursday afternoon and shared that he is now cancer-free. "As of 7:45 this morning, I had my last treatment," Sandberg said. "All Good! At 11:30, I met with my Oncologist and he said the tests are great. Cancer undetected! Very manageable going forward, and that's the next plan. I just found that out two hours ago." Sandberg has had an emotional ride during his cancer battle. "It's incredible," he said. "The doctors, nurses, like I said, the support, it's been quite the journey. But it's all come to a good conclusion here, so tears of joy are happening." We love you, Ryno. 💙
