Cubs prospect Carlos Garcia suspended 60 games for testing positive for steroids |

- The office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that four Minor League pitchers have each received a 60-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. The four players are Brayan Diaz (SEA), Carlos Garcia (CHI), Jorge Geraldo (HOU), Aron Vargas (TEX), each of whom is currently on the roster of their club's Dominican Summer League affiliate. The suspension of all four players will be effective at the start of their respective 2022 seasons.
