Reds to give Arrieta his pitching rubber and home plate from no-hitter

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta pitched his second career no-hitter last Thursday in the 16-0 victory against the Cincinnati Reds.

The Reds are showing good sportsmanship as they are sending him the pitching rubber, first base and home plate from the historic game.

“It’s nice of them,” Arrieta said Tuesday to reporters. “I’m giving the plate to Rossy [catcher David Ross]."
