Cubs News: Postseason start times announced |
Major League Baseball announced the postseason start times for playoff games through Oct. 7.
The NLDS playoff series between the Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals will begin Friday with first pitch starting at 6:31 CT on TBS. On Saturday, the Cubs-Nationals game will start at 4:38 CT on TBS. Get excited Cub fans as your 2016 World Series champions will defend their title starting on Friday. No word yet on the pitching starters for the Cubs or Nationals yet. Most think that Jon Lester or Kyle Hendricks will get the nod for Game 1 in Washington but rosters do not have to be submitted until the day of the game. Dusty Baker has already said that Scherzer's hamstring injury will "probably" impact his pitching rotation in the NLDS. Look for Scherzer to possible rest his hamstring and not get the game one start. It all depends if he has a hamstring cramp or if it's indeed a more serious strain injury. Here is the full list of start times this week only. No times have been announced past Saturday. Postseason start times announced through Saturday, October 7th. #Postseason pic.twitter.com/PmIYErqLvl
