Kyle Hendricks agrees to deal with Angels |
The last member of the Cubs 2016 World Series team is close to being on the move.
Chicago Cubs veteran pitcher Kyle Henricks is signing a one-year deal worth $2.5 million with the Angels. In 2014, Hendricks had his toughest season as a pro, posting a 5.92 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 130.2 innings with the Cubs. Hendricks grew up in Southern California, so this would be a nice spot for him. His dad actually worked in the Angels ticket office for six years. Best of luck to the 'Professor' as he tries to finish up a strong MLB career.
