Cubs-Pirates in a weather delay

Cubs-Pirates in a weather delay

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs-Pittsburgh Pirates game on Friday night that was originally scheduled for 5:40 pm CT has been delayed because of rain in the area.

The tarp is currently on the field, but there shouldn't be a very long delay.

A cell of rain is coming into the area, and they are waiting for it to arrive and finish.

We will update you once Cubs officials give us a new start time.

Update: Tonight's game is expected to begin at 6:35 pm CT.
