Former Cubs receive their World Series rings |
Former Chicago Cubs players Travis Wood, Jason Hammell, and Jorge Soler received their 2016 World Series rings for their role in the team's championship last season. The trio wore Cubs jerseys with the gold letters on during the pre-game ceremony.
All three players are members of the Kansas City Royals and had an off-day on Monday and flew in to receive their rings at Wrigley Field. Dexter Fowler, Aroldis Chapman, and Chris Coghlan are other players that have not received their 2016 Championship rings yet. They might be Royals now, but they will forever be Cubs. #ThatsCub pic.twitter.com/1gPYWc81GN
