Trades are fast and furious as we head to the trade deadline on Friday at 4 p.m. ET.

Former Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber was traded away to the Boston Red Sox for minor league right-hander Aldo Ramirez on Thursday night.

Ramirez has a 2.03 ERA in eight starts for the Red Sox's Single-A affiliate Salem. He is considered their 19th best prospect by MLB Pipeline.

Schwarber is currently on the injured list with a hamstring strain for a few more weeks.

He was hitting .253 with an impressive 25 homers and 53 RBIs this season.

Best of luck to 'Schwarbs' on his new stop in Boston.
