WATCH: Christopher Morel crushes 422-foot game-tying homer against Cardinals |
Welcome back to the Bigs!
Chicago Cubs second baseman Christopher Morel crushed a game-tying homer in the sixth inning against the rival St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday night. The solo homer traveled 422 feet with an exit velocity of 106.6 MPH. This is the first game that Morel has played this season with the Cubs. During his early stint with the I-Cubs this season, he had an impressive 11 homers. Hopefully, this type of offensive firepower that the Cubs need will get manager David Ross to find some regular playing time for this young star in the making.
