WATCH: Christopher Morel drills three-run homer against Astros |
This kid is special.
Chicago Cubs INF/outfielder Christopher Morel drilled a three-run homer to tie things up at 4-4 against the Houston Astros on Monday night. It was Morel's fourth home of the season, and it was a no-doubter that traveled 401 feet with an estimated travel velocity of 102.7 MPH with a launch angle of 29 degrees. All of his homers this season at the big league level have been over 400 feet. Four homers in six games isn't too shabby for the young star. Check out his later homer: To infinity and beyond! ☄️ pic.twitter.com/UWOkl4OKSN

That game-tying homer by Christopher Morel was hit 102.7 mph and would have been gone in all 30 ballparks.
Twitter reacts: Players like Morel are just fascinating to watch play. It looked like Valdez had him from the get-go making him chase cutters down and in. Morel stayed alive on 0-2 then Framber leaves a cutter up over the plate and he just hammers it.
Christopher Morel is saving lives.
Lmao Chris Morel really did it. It was so obviously set up for redemption and then he just smacked one out of the park. Lol.
