HOUSTON — The Houston Astros defeated the New York Yankees 6-4 in Game 6 of the ALCS on Saturday and advanced to the World Series. A walkoff 2-run home run hit by Astros second baseman Jose Altuve in the bottom of the ninth resulted in the Astros, who coughed up a 2-run lead in the top of the ninth at Minute Maid Park, winning the ALCS 4-2.

Former Cubs reliever Aroldis Chapman was victimized by Altuve on the game-ending 2-run jack, with the hard-throwing Yankees closer walking a batter with two outs and then getting taken deep by Altuve. Chapman led the American League with 37 saves in the regular season, but his postseason ended in deflating fashion.
