Bears announce players out against Vikings

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced their inactive list in pregame of Monday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Ther players that are out tonight: quarterback Nathan Peterman, defensive back Quindell Johnson, linebacker Noah Sewell, defensive lineman Dominique Robinson, running back D'Onta Foreman, defensive back Tyrique Stevenson, and offensive lineman Larry Borom.

In a notable inclusion, the Bears have activated young receiver Velus Jones Jr. for tonight's game.

The decision to have Jones Jr. in the active lineup adds an exciting element to the offensive arsenal, hoping he can spark the Bears offense or possibly on special teams. He has been inactive (healthy scratch) for the last two games.

Jones has three receptions for nine yards on the season.

The Vikings have ruled out star receiver Justin Jefferson with a hamstring injury for tonight's game.

The Bears (3-8) will face off against the Vikings (6-5) at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday Night Football (ESPN).
