MILWAUKEE — After being called up from the minors earlier in the day, Chicago Cubs infielder David Bote hit a home run in his first game back with the North Siders. In the top of the ninth at Miller Park on Thursday, Bote sent a solo blast out to right-center field.

Bote's 11th homer of the season, the towering dinger was skied off the bat at 30 degrees and had an exit velocity of 103 miles per hour. Milwaukee Brewers reliever Jake Faria gave up the bomb, which put the Cubs up 10-5 on the Brewers.
