Long-time White Sox employee Mary Ruich got the rare opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the White Sox-Royals game on Tuesday.
Her throw was so horrific and hilarious that the Internet went wild discussing her hitting the photographer on the fly with the baseball. "I thought I was right over that home plate," Ruich told the media Wednesday. "I thought I was good. It felt good. I felt great. I don't know what happened, but something went wrong."
