WATCH: Kanye West throws out first pitch with young son at Crosstown Classic |
CHICAGO — Appropriately marching onto the diamond to the tune of his song "Homecoming," rapper Kanye West, a Chicago native, threw out the first pitch before the start of Chicago Cubs-Chicago White Sox game on Sunday at Guaranteed Rate Field.
Donning a White Sox jersey, Kanye carried his young son, Saint, on his shoulders out to the mound. In a cute moment, Saint tossed his own first pitch onto the grass in front of the mound. Then, Kanye lobbed a pitch that one-hopped to the plate. Receiving a rousing ovation from the crowd, Kanye beamed from ear to ear, as he was clearly elated to be taking part in the special moment in his hometown. OKAY @kanyewest JUST CAME OUT TO “HOMECOMING” AND THREW THE FIRST PITCH AT #CROSSTOWN! ??I'm coming home agaaaaaain.....??
