Cubs lose Pro Scouting Director to Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced on Monday that Cubs Pro Scouting Director Jared Porter has been hired by their team as Scouting Vice President and Assistant General Manager.

Porter joined the Cubs in August 2015 from the Red Sox.

The Cubs were not going to be able to keep all of their impressive front office members after such a great run this year.
