Kris Bryant hit a solo homer in the first before the Red Sox responded with five in the first off Jake Arrieta. Cubs pitching held Boston scoreless the rest of the way, including 3.2 scoreless frames the bullpen. This is Chicago’s third visit to Fenway Park during the regular season as the club previously came by for a three-game set in 2014, a sweep by the Cubs.
