Two Cubs in All-Star voting lead |
The 2017 All-Star game at Marlins Park is just around the corner on July 11 and the latest All-Star voting numbers have been released on Monday.
Chicago Cubs teammates Kris Bryant and Jason Heyward are currently sitting as starters for the All-Star Classic if the voting ended today. However, several other Cubs are in contention to make the prestigious event. Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, and Willson Contreras are all ranked second at their respective positions in the All-Star voting. Addison Russell is currently sitting at third place for shortstops in the National League. Cubs outfielder Ben Zobrist and Kyle Schwarber are fourth and eighth respectively in voting in the outfield.
