Kris Bryant was hit by a pitch in the ninth inning against the Reds on Tuesday night and left the game in the bottom of the inning.
The training staff did an X-ray after the game and the results came back negative for any type of fracture and the injury is being called a contusion or bruised left hand. He has already been ruled out of Wednesday's game because of the swelling and the injury is considered day-to-day. In 2017, he is batting .287 with 23 homers, 56 RBI, and .400 on-base percentage.
