Cubs fan drops potential homer and gets ejected |
Kris Bryant hit a rocket shot to right field in the first inning and a Cubs fan tried to catch the ball over the railing for a souvenir.
The fan did not make the play and was it was called interference by the umpire. The patron and his friend were kicked out of the game after a four-minute replay review by the umpires. Bryant did not get the home run and had to return to second base with an RBI double. Update: The Cubs fan named Josh Brock tweeted, "I was moved..got caught off guard after many beers and not expecting kris to go oppo." @BarstoolBigCat He's a Cubs fan, thought the umps were just gonna take his word for it too pic.twitter.com/8tVKR0prRI
