Cubs infielder Javier Baez showed his stellar defense on Thursday night against the Marlins.

Javier Baez somehow caught the ball after it hit the ground, spun athletically while simultaneously throwing it to first base to gun down the runner.

However, the call was overturned the runner was safe on the play.
